What does matter is two points...","content":"<blockquote><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.podos.io\/kv2urx9c9djfnrq25hmaiomnnkcgvlffiha8blirgqcfseaj.jpeg.jpg?w=1140&amp;h=auto\" alt=\"kv2urx9c9djfnrq25hmaiomnnkcgvlffiha8blirgqcfseaj.jpeg.jpg?w=1140&amp;h=auto\" \/>\u201cAnd God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying\u2026\u201d Revelation 21:4<\/p><\/blockquote><p>Regardless of your persuasion on certain traditions that take place worldwide on the 25th December, I think we can all agree that <strong>the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord was an overwhelmingly beautiful event.<\/strong><\/p><p>Was He actually born on December 25th? I\u2019m not even going to get into that. For now, it doesn\u2019t matter.<strong> What does matter is two points:<\/strong><\/p><ol><li><p>Jesus was born, He was crucified and <strong>He rose again<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>He will return<\/strong> in all His glory soon<\/p><p><\/p><\/li><\/ol><p>Right now, billions of people are hearing the story of how <strong>Christ was born into this world.<\/strong> God made flesh and among us hence one of His names: Emmanuel, <em>\u201cGod with us\u201d<\/em>. As Matthew states in 1:23, this fulfilled the prophecy in Isaiah 7:14, <em>\u201cTherefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p>The birth of Christ signified <strong>the beginning of God\u2019s plan<\/strong> to both redeem His children for <strong>eternal Salvation<\/strong> and make a way for us to <strong>receive His Spirit<\/strong> until then. The too-good-to-be-true news of the Gospel was about to be possible.<\/p><p><strong>Jesus then went on to live a sinless life.<\/strong> Hebrews 4:15 says Christ was, <em>\u201c\u2026tempted in every way, just as we are - yet He did not sin.\u201d<\/em> Peter affirms this in 1 Peter 2:22 claiming, <em>\u201cHe committed no sin, and no deceit was found in His mouth.\u201d<\/em> Furthermore, the Pharisees, who had every reason to find fault in Jesus, could not make any accusation consistent with witnesses.<\/p><p>This was crucial in order for Jesus to be the sacrificial lamb for the world. <strong>He was perfect so that we will never need to be.<\/strong> The beautiful words of Hebrews 10:14 reassure me so much. <em>\u201cFor by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p>My <strong>body<\/strong> may degrade but my <strong>soul<\/strong> is being made holy while <strong>my Spirit has been made perfect<\/strong> forever.<\/p><p>But this is all talking about the finite life that we are living now in this world and all of that, being finite, must come to an end. <strong>Eternity is just around the corner.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Jesus comforted his disciples<\/strong> with these words, <em>\u201c\u2026if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.\u201d<\/em> John 14:3<\/p><p>Christ came but <strong>He is coming again.<\/strong> Yes, he was born as a child and was crucified but one day, He is going to return, <em>\u201c\u2026coming in the clouds, and every eye will see Him\u2026\u201d<\/em> Revelation 1:7.<\/p><p>The grave mistake made at this time of year is leaving Jesus in the manger.
