His choice of words was not only to heal her but to turn to the Pharisees\u2019 own plan against them.","content":"<blockquote><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/d3taotfywdr31tynmj0y3ax95igwrphdmf8k0xqoeshzbisg.jpeg.jpg?w=1140&amp;h=auto\" alt=\"d3taotfywdr31tynmj0y3ax95igwrphdmf8k0xqoeshzbisg.jpeg.jpg?w=1140&amp;h=auto\" \/><span style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI', '-apple-system', Verdana, sans-serif;\">\u2018\u201cFor who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?\u201d But we have the mind of Christ.\u201d\u2019 <\/span><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">1 Corinthians 2:16<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">One of my favourite things about the nature of Christ is His cunning. <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Jesus was a mastermind tactician<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">!<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">This became even more apparent to me recently when my Bible study took a pleasant venture off course into Luke 13.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">While it may not be the most powerful of revelations, Christ\u2019s demonstration of His insight and foresight left me thinking once again, <\/span><em><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">\u201cWow! I wish I could be as smart as Jesus\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">In that part of the world at the time, traditional homes were built with a porch\/stable as the entrance. Here, animals were brought in from the cold and tied securely close to the owner to protect against theft. <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Each morning, the owner would untie his animals<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\"> and lead them to water. His choice of words was not only to heal her but to <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">turn the Pharisees\u2019 own plan against them<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">You see, instead of suffering public ridicule for breaching Jewish law, instead, <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Jesus exposed those self-righteous hypocrites<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\"> to the tense crowd about them who were eagerly waiting for a verdict.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">I don\u2019t know about you but I like to think that I would have joined in with the observers of this scene as described in verse 17, <\/span><em><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">\u201cAnd when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">But that\u2019s not the end of our story. Yes, Jesus demonstrated amazing abilities, both strategical and supernatural but <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">these things are not exclusive to Him<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">.
