The writer, Paul, makes a fantastic distinction for us here in his letter to the church at Thessalonica.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

He clarifies that we are made of 3 parts: a spirit, a soul and a body.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Let\u2019s break this down.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Hebrews 10:10 tells that, <\/span>\u201c\u2026we have made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>

<\/p>

Now, this is one beautifully radical verse as it is but let\u2019s just focus on that first statement.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

If you have accepted Jesus as your Saviour then you have been made holy through Him.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

In your Spirit, you are so perfect, you have, <\/span>\u201c\u2026become the righteousness of God.\u201d<\/span><\/em> 2 Corinthians 5:21<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

I can look at my body and tell you that it\u2019s not \u201cperfect\u201d and my thoughts are by no means \u201choly\u201d all the time. However, in my spirit, I am born again as a completely new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Daily gym sessions and an improved diet will keep you fitter and healthier than most, and we should steward the temple of the Lord, but all that\u2019s doing is slowing down the inevitable demise of your physical body.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Praise God, we will receive a glorified body when we go to be with Jesus!<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

The problem most believers have is the bridge between their born again, perfected spirit called the soul.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

In our soul exists the mind, the will and the emotions.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Our body is doomed, our spirit is sealed but our soul is the part of the believer that is subject to a constant transformation.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

\u201c\u2026be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/em> Romans 12:2<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

The more we allow this transformation to take place in our soul, the more our way of thinking is renewed.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

The more our thinking is renewed, the more room there is for our perfected spirit to flow out of us.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

And this is where you will start to experience the true power of the Gospel!<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

After all, <\/span>\u201c\u2026the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/em> Romans 8:11<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

This is why the message of Jesus is called The Gospel. That word can be translated as \u201cthe too-good-to-be-true-news of Jesus\".<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>
